In-Form Solutions have been supporting the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust’s Good Hope Hospital site for a number of years. Assignments have covered a wide variety of projects, including business case development, undertaking a feasibility review, supporting cost improvement, income generation, fundraising and innovation programmes.
In-Form Solutions successfully completed a feasibility study to develop a private patient wing at the hospital site. Our team undertook stakeholder engagement with managers and clinicians to draw up the hospital ward configuration as well as carrying out a detailed market assessment. This study was presented to the hospital board and accepted in full.
The hospital required a business case and specification to develop its front entrance to include a cafeteria, shops, meet and greet points and a secure and ambient area to relax and commissioned In-Form Solutions for the work. In addition to undertaking the business case work, In-form Solutions also led the successful negotiation with a contractor to support with the contribution of both capital and revenue costs and proposals for the way forward.
In-Form Solutions provided expert support to enable the hospital to develop a cost improvement programme, which involved drawing up a set of plans, templates and schedules as well as monthly performance management reports to measure progress. Our team ran stakeholder engagement sessions with individual managers and clinicians and then undertook detailed deep dives in areas such as Trauma and Orthopaedics. We then devised a unique, informative and engaging approach, by developing an Innovation Strategy. This included a communications plan, resulting in the organisation and development of roadshows and seminars, hosting and organising competitions, supported by targeted social media campaigning designed to engage staff, patients and the community.
Our team was actively engaged in the fundraising programme and helped to organise a number of events, including fêtes, concerts and balls. Our approach involved the team actively supporting the Trust by helping to raise new funds and ideas through this programme, which enabled the development of a new garden for patients and their families.
In-Form Solutions also chaired various steering groups, regularly reporting to Richard Parker the Managing Director of Good Hope Hospital.
